This set of thirty A6 pairs cards depict images of coastal towns and resorts in Britain. Perfect for evoking memories of holidays spent with loved ones.

Traditional and popular, this activity provides opportunity for conversation and is an ideal activity resource that help carers, family and friends spend quality time with loved ones to engage in a meaningful, person centred and focused activity.

Each pack contains fifteen pairs of picture cards and one instruction card.

How the game works

A game for two players. Each player takes it in turns to turn over pairs of cards to see if they match. You can manage the difficulty level by reducing the amount of pairs you play with at the start of each game.

How to play

  1. Lay the 9 cards out face up on the table.
  2. Line the bottles with the labels out of sight of the player.
  3. Then using the scent sticks provided let the player smell each scent and place on the corresponding card to which they think it matches.
  4. Once the player has guessed all the scents and the bottles have been placed, reveal the labels to see how many are correct.

Note: To avoid mixing the bottles up keep the labels near the bottle to which they belong.

How the Cards Work

On one side of the card is a clear picture or pictures with a brief informational text about the image. On the reverse are three prompt questions to assist the caregiver to engage in conversation and trigger memories.

All cards can be wiped clean.
